Our Brownies

Brownies meet on a weekly basis on a Wednesday night. We have good numbers within 1st Bispham and these are supported well by a strong experienced leader team.

Our Brownies range between the ages of 7-10. We are spilt up into different sixes where we get to make new friends and have fun. We all take part in various activities from archery, climbing as well as some less adventurous activities like making handicrafts. We also take part in our District competitions and have a done very well in a lot of those attended.

Badges & Awards

One of the great things about being a Brownie is having lots of different badges to try. Brownie badges cover many hobbies and interests so a Brownie should be able to find one that she would like to do.

Interest badges are valuable incentives for many Brownies to stretch their abilities and develop skills and knowledge. However, not every Brownie is interested in completing badges: other Brownies and Leaders should respect a Brownie’s decision.
